Mark Zablow is Founder and CEO of Cogent Entertainment Marketing, and with over fifteen years of experience on the front lines of entertainment marketing, Mark has ascended as a trusted voice in influencer and experiential marketing today, and saw an immense opportunity for brands to work with celebrities, influencers, and professional athletes in non-traditional ROI driven formats. Cogent’s notoriety as a powerhouse of excellence in the Entertainment Marketing arena is directly associated to the culture Mark has fostered amongst his staff, and their unwillingness to provide clients with nothing but unparalleled service and ROI driven strategy.

In 2006 Mark joined Platinum Rye Entertainment, an Omnicom agency, and led all Lifestyle Marketing. During his tenure at Platinum Rye, Mark negotiated over 1,000 talent contracts totaling over $500 million on behalf of brands such as P&G, AT&T, GM, Chevy, Pepsi, MillerCoors, Corona, Dr. Pepper Snapple Group, and DirecTV, amongst many more fortune 500 companies who continue to work with Mark today. In 2011, at the pinnacle of his career at Platinum Rye, Mark left to form Cogent. He knew there were more creative opportunities for brands to work with celebrities, athletes and influencers than simply inking a single multi-million dollar deal. He aimed to innovate marketing by leveraging talent appearances, event activations, social media call outs, and more micro-campaigns to spread the love.

In 2003, Mark got his start at Gerber Group where he learned how to inject brands into the Rande Gerber hospitality portfolio through seamless experiential integration. In 2005, Mark took his experience to Track Entertainment where he led the American Express account, weaving Amex into the blossoming nightlife and hospitality culture, eliciting new Amex cardholders opportunities to join, while retaining existing member through bespoke experiences.

In his spare time, Mark hosts lectures at NYU and Columbia University and heavily invests in mentoring college students with aspirations of working in the highly-coveted Entertainment Marketing world.
